This month 16th i went to the Bird's Nest to watch the last day's matches of the Paralympics. It was a fantastic trip, my first time to enter Olympic Park, everything is brand new and attractive.

Let's start from Subway Line 8, the Olympic Games special line, only the Olympic related official, volunteer and audience intraday can take it.

The photos above is BeiTuCheng station, the start station of subway line 8. The main style of it is the Blue and White Porcelain from ancient Chinese culture. Looks very beautiful, right?

From the roof you can guess that it is about the Water Cube. Yeah, this station is Olympic Park, where the Water Cube and Bird's Nest locate. Wonderful originality!

If disaster only comes from nature, we have nothing to complain, anyway nobody can control it. But now, we are in ANGER.

SNOW DISASTER
2008.01.12 Heavy snow impacted most of provinces in south of China and the scale of which is so egregious that happens after 50 years.
2008.01.22 Coal becomes in short, 13 provinces started to restrict electricity.
2008.01.29 The main railway connects north and south turns paralysis. 500 thousands passengers have to stay at Guangzhou railway station.
2008.01.30 More than 10 millions units of area's cropper was damaged.
2008.02.15 107 death, 8 disappearances, 11.11 thousands of millions economic loss, 178 millions units of area's cropper damaged.

It was really a hard time, when we are still in the process of recovery from such a whacking disaster and strenuous preparation of Olympics, there is someone who thinks our life is too quiet...

TIBET BLAST
2008.03.14 Tibet blast stroke out, a small part of anti-government group attacked and lighted fire on the residence and shops in Lhasa and neighboring provinces.Till now, there are 94 injured people and 230 million economic loss in Gansu province.

Since Dalai Lama left China for India in 1959, he kept working on the activity of dividing up Tibet from China. Especially recent years, he started visiting western countries. Last year, he visited German, prime minister Merkel met with him regardless the official warn by Chinese government. After that, he also met with prime minister of Australia, minister of foreign affairs of New Zealand, prime minister of Austria and prime minister of Canada. And in Oct. American congress award him Nobel prize of peace, president Bush made a speaking.

Till recently, the house speaker Nancy Pelosi visited him again in India who is the first government leader met with Dalai after the protest. It becomes so obvious that Dalai is going to dividing our country by so indecent and violent a way. But by dressing up itself as international police on human right and involving in our interior affairs, U.S are actually focusing on their own political profit.
Mess up as much as u can Dalai, let's see what will happen after Olympics.

EARTHQUAKE
2008.03.23 7.3 grade earthquake happened in Xinjiang province, in few hours, there were 889 times aftershock, the greatest of which was 6.4 grade. About 70 thousands people are in disaster and it results in more than 10 million's economic loss.

After the whole winter's rest, 2008 World Championship comes again, but with a little strangeness.
From human resource side, Ferrari team boss old Todt left the green yard, Mclaren chief designer Mike handed over resignation，both chairman and chief designer of Honda are on move, and people say Mclaren team boss Dennis is also leaving(denied by Dennis)... How would the F1 game be like when all these high level behind the screen players left?
Technical side, in new season, all cars has to use standard ECU provided by Mclaren Electronic System Corp. & Microsoft, but for the teams other than Mclaren who ever used TC, it's a disadvantage at least in first few races.
Good to hear the engine news, if the car change engine for the first time and it's because the engine itself has problem but not from tactics consideration, the player will not get the 10 places behind punishment.
And head protection, biologic fuel, standby car canceled, one gear-box has to be used for 4 consecutive grand prixs, and no more fuel before formal race.

Which impacts the game the most would be the substitution of TCS. Traction Control System makes sure the car could get best traction when starts, turns corner, and runs in rain. Then could offer drivers the benefit of space-age electronics that improve a car's contact with the road.

So, this time, only 7 cars had chance to meet grid flag which remides me the American Grand Prix in 2006 where only 6 cars took part in the race. But what different is, this time there is no Michelin, no extreme dangerous corner, no rain, it just happened on the most nomal condition. Slip, rush out of the track, seems everything is out of control. Why? Because players had been used to the help of TC, they are not good enough to control their car accurately without it. Finally, F1 race would not be complained boring again owe to the bold innovation of FIA. But most players even could not go through the game, do u really think it is better?

Maybe, it's an oppertunity for players to improve their skill.

Dropped to Wang Fujing after Lao She's former residence on sunday, accidentally meet the celebration of Irland Week.
As National Day of Irland, Irishman celebrate it with royal and ceremonious party all over the world every year this time .

Had been looking forward to see National Theater for a long time, but didn't get chance to go because of busy work. But now, i'm here!

This huge 'egg' is surrounded by an artifical lake, in night u can see the inverted image of the theater, and the lights on the surface would be like shining stars on sky.
U must know that the Two Sessions of NPC and CPPCC are going on right now in the Great Hall of the People (while i took this photo), so u can see so many red flags are flying in the wind.
Flying pigeon i caught with 10 times zoom, it would be much better if the sky is blue

Seriously saying, i'm little disappointed with sohu blog. I just finished this passage, but it disappeared while session time out! I have to tell it's their QA's breach of duty as it's such a obvious bug.
Anyway, i dont want my interest to be disturbed by this, let's come back to that time again.

Last sunday, i visited LaoShe's former residence who is a playwright and author of humorous, satiric novels and short stories and well known all over the world. Take a round, see the place he ever lived, review his life in old times, feel his will which is still and will be living on this world.

Lao She, pseudonym of Shu Sheyou, original name Shu Qingchun, was born Shu She-yü of Manchu descent in Beijing. His father, who was a guard soldier, died in a street battle during the 1900 Boxer uprising.

He has a 300 square meters' quadrangle in the middle of where stand 2 persimmon tree, so his wife Jieqing Hu named it 'red persimmon quad'.
He is so fruitful a author that his works include long/short novel, drama, essay, poetry and so on. And till now some of them are usually played on stages, such as 'Four generations in one household', 'Dragon Beard Ditch', 'Rickshaw Boy','Teahouse'...

Before as this, now as this, and hope in future also as this. When he comes to grave, hope there is someone who gives him a short gravestone written ' a jerkwater soldier in showfolk, sleeping here'.
I was moved by this passage, by this great and self-giving 'soldier'.

where we went was Mu Tian Yu Great Wall which is in Huai Rou district, not much ppl, better scenery. But the sky was not blue and weather was little cold.

wild goose are coming back with spring.

see the slideway? we slided down the mountain with it But my speed was too slow that David waited me for 5 mins at the foot of mountain. .

It was really a wonderful day, an unique experience in my life.

It turns out a week with suprise and happiness because of the visit of David. And it was an exciting moment when saw old friend again from the flow of people at airport. A good feeling, really ...

Even though i was late to meet with nana in early morning, thank god her warm smile came first when my first sight load on her . Here we started!

haha, on the way to airport we passed by the Water Cube and Bird's Nest. But what pity is the bus drove too fast so didnt caught a good view to take photo.

Botanical Garden Wander

Yesterday went to botanical garden with friend, had a very good time. Even bald tree and dry grass came instead of flowers and new green grass, our interest was not disturbed at all

I Bough New Camera!

O Yeah! I have my own camera now!
It's Canon SX100, has a long optical zoom which is 10 times and can be absolutely manually control. Such parameter makes taking photograph itself a very enjoyable thing. So from now on, i can record my life with it, catch every interesting or meaningful moment. Still cant believe it, so exciting!
